PDA or Tablet PC?

I've been considering getting a palmpilot as an organizer, but lately those new Tablet PC's look pretty cool to take down notes with in class - no more 5-subject notebooks.

Has anybody here used or owns a Tablet PC? Opinions/Pros/Cons?

Do you write as fast as you type? Thats my main reason I won't get a Tablet PC, I can type much faster than I can write.

i go with paper and that dozen of pencil i got for my birthday form my girlfriend

Yeah, but it's hard drawing diagrams, formulas, superscript, subscript, and greek letters typing.

i think the price difference makes me lean towards the PDA
