PDA--Is a pocket PC considered a PDA? Help me choose one!

No real budget to consider, however I need to be able to run a few things such as the Dameware Remote Client, Citrix ICA Client, and a 32bit command prompt. Wireless 802.11A/B/G is available so connectivity shouldn't be a problem. Also need to be able to synchronise with Outlook Public Folders without any glitches!

What about external connectivity such as 1394. Can I connect an external DVD reader, etc.

Cheers!

Geez with all of that why don't you just go with a small form factor laptop? You'll get a lot more bang for your buck.
I agree.

But anyways, shuttleteam, as for your requirements...
Dameware? Not sure.
Citrix? Yep, ICA client is available for PPC
32 bit cmd? Not sure
Wireless? Yep
Public Folder sync? Yes, but not calendars (I don't know if this was changed in 2003)
External connectivity? Extremely limited and only done with hacked drivers.

Yeah this got in the wrong forum. 🙂

Also, I already have a capable notebook. I'm looking for something that's truly portable. I don't mind a 15" 1600x1200 screen so screen size isn't a factor. It's not like I'm downloading porn or anything, this is strictly business!

Cheers!
