I read that replacing the glasstop for Sony Clie N-Series PDA (N610C, N710C, N760C, N770C) was considerably more difficult and challenging than doing the same for other handhelds, like a Handspring Visor.
I plan to make the attempt myself when i get a good glasstop for my N710C. I'm going to "practice" by working on Handspring Visors, and I wanted to know the things that should get more attention when I replace the digitizer on my Clie. I heard gethightech will sell the glasstop, but will provide no intstructions on replacing it. I've already talked to one person who was unsuccessful in replacing his glasstop (I think he cut the ribbon cable).
I'd love to hear from people who have successfully replaced the digitizer/glasstop for a Sony Clie N-Series.
