Anybody here try watching streaming video on a PDA over I assume a wifi link?

How was it?

What looks like a good PDA to use?

Slingbox support shows a few Axim (X30, 5, 50, 51), bunch of Ipaq, Acer N50, and Toshiba e750 and e755.

Are all PDA wifi 802.11b still?

I can tell you from trying to watch converted DVDs on the X5 that the frame rate drop and brightness leave a lot to be desired. The X50v however is another story..

X5 is on the lists I have seen as supporting video ok, but my guess is that it varies on the encoding etc etc.

Dell had the X51 refurb for $199 today, which had me REAL tempted, but I am still a good 6 weeks from buy it now fever.

Another I am watching are the rx3115 Ipaq, but wow, lots of problems reported.

Also I don't plan to store video and watch, just to stream and watch. Many SD cards are pokey slow, so that could be an issue too.
