Nice to see that 5\7 of the power systems are AMD. Hell, four of those are FX-55s, the other is a 3500+.

$3700 is nicely priced? Looks like Dell's losing out on the bidding war versus AW for the PC World best buy "honor."

I have built THOUSANDS of PC's and am very happy to say because of the price / performence / quality of Dell computers I will never have to do it again.

High-End Gamers that are willing to build thier own $2000 systems are a very small part of the population.

The funny thing is my co-worker believes in this because she said "they would not print this in a national magazine if it was not true"

pc world sucks plain and simple. they once put some stratgey pic up when they reviewed the call of duty expansion(in fact, 3 pics for 3 game reviews were all wrong, i just dont remmeber the other 2 games). it's almost as bad as the people computer gaming world. for a while, their "DREAM" pc had some $500 per gig memory(hyper x or something with a 1 line lcd screen on the heatspreaders), fx 55 and 6600gt SLI

LoL, women have a fascination of sorts with things like that. For some reason, Dell is never questioned for their "quality". I think that ironic because they have some of the worst customer service on the planet for regular consumers, I say planet because they're obviously all outsourced now.

A friend of mine wanted me to build his next machine, we had it all picked out and ready to build. Then his g/f decided she didn't want that, and that a dell would be 10x more reliable and that he had to get a Dell. I just stepped back from that one. You can't beat some of the deals you can find on a Dell and I definetely think most people should buy Dell's, but their customer service is second to everyone. At least with Alienware, they go out of their way to please you once you purchase. I've heard nothing but bad things from Dell customers in the last year or two, unless they paid for extra on-site service.
