PCTV and XP-SP1 app hangs on exit

Hi, I have a dual-boot 98SE and XP SP1 system. I have a PCTV card that worked fine in pre-SP1. Now, the PCTV application always hangs on exit. Doesn't matter if it's PCTV's app or Descaler; same problem. Tried different drivers, no luck. Moved PCTV card to another pci slot; no help. PCTV works flawlessly in 98SE, and, as mentioned, fine in pre-SP1.

There's a reported problem with SP1 and TV cards in general, but it mostly has to do with failing to come out of Standby and/or Hibernation. People with this condition have recommended reverting to the original "stream.sys" file that was pre-SP1. I tried that, still ng. Application hangs on exit, and can't be killed via task manager or any "kill process" app. Rebooting is the only option.

I also have an Athlon system; Soyo Dragon+ mb w/ XP2100 cpu. 512mb PC2100 ram.

Anyone else with a PCTV card and XP SP1 have issues like this?
