PCTOYZ screwed up my order of a duron 900m ($51 shipped)

This is a pretty good deal regardless if it is pretested or not. nevertheless, i got the chip today and surprise! its not even overclocked. no dashes anywhere. moreover, 3 pins were bent and i had to take some careful steps to rebend them to make it go in. working fine now, though its pretty buggy even though on a clean install.

Pctoyz probably wont respond anymore to my emails or phonecalls. so this is just a warning to anyone considering pctoyz: buyer beware.

Actualll, I think that this is the place to complain about it - it's regarding the "hot deal" that he took advantage of am I not correct? There's more to a hot deal than the price.

I have a rule. I never buy from a company that substitutes "z"s for "s"s. I do sympathize though. I dont like to see anyone get a raw deal.

looks like we're on the same boat. I ordered a 950mhz duron from overclockerz store for $70 shipped, but it can only do 918Mhz!! plus, it took a long @$$ time for it to shipped. argh.............

Well, the reason i posted this was for pctoyz to see this thread. they occassionaly surf these forums... its impossible to contact them thru email or phone. sigh~

i dont know why, but amd never works for me. after 1 day of a fresh install, 4.28via and everything fresh. bios wz_01.. it totally crashes and gives me teh bsod. just reformatted, coverted back to my p3 733. oh well. im selling that kt7raid now.

There is a guy around here that sells them in the F/S trade forums. Excellent rep.....
