PCs -> switch -> router -> DSL modem -> internet ????????

We're finally getting DSL (moment of silence... ahhh) and I want to make sure I've got this right. We have 4 PCs that need internet access and I also want to network them (including WiFi) while I'm at it. I have an 8-port switch and we will get the DSL modem when they set us up.

So all I need is a router and I'm all set? Is there a way I can bypass the modem completely?

here's a little more detail...

I'd like to network 4 PCs and my handheld while allowing DSL internet access to all of them. What would be the best setup?

So the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless Broadband Router would be exactly what I would need? So I can set up a network using this router as the DHCP for wired and wireless clients as well as the gateway and I wouldn't need another switch?

clients -> router -> DSL modem -> internet

I'm a network dummy so I can't figure out how to tell if this router will handle what I'm asking it to.

Okay, so maybe I can figure it out by visiting their site... I think I've answered all my own questions. Thanks Jack MDS for your help.
