I've got 5 pc's on my home LAN and everything has been working fine. All of sudden my Vista pc doesn't see any of the other pc's on the LAN. Then when I check the other pc's, they can't see any pc's either. All of the pc's are running XP Pro except for the one Vista pc.

Anyone got any suggestions...other than renaming my Workgroup to something different?

Only thing I can think of that I've done different is I installed Respondus Lockdown Browser on one of the XP pc's and used it to take a test. Could that have screwed up my LAN some how?

I haven't got my PC's (one running XP, one running Vista) to see each other yet. I've tried everything, reinstalling network, making sure workgroup name is exact same, etc......they worked fine before I installed Vista on my desktop

The last XP update I installed on one of my PC's zapped my PC's seeing each other also.
They all still have internet connection, but don't see each other. :(

I have turned off auto-updates.

Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.
