I have a PCP&C TurboCool 850w SSI PSU and I have an occasional "chirp" that comes from the PSU. I am not sure if it is coming from the fan or not but I can replicate the issue on demand. It also isn't a constant chirp. I will hear once in a while and then nothing. Should I be worried? The PSU is still under warranty and it power the rig in my sig.

Thank you for your advice.

Sometimes capacitors chirp when they're being charged or discharged. Though, usually when they do chirp, it means they are bad or in the process of going bad.

If PCP&C is such a 'premium' brand as they advertise, the units are probby engineered well enough to have multiple capacitors fail and still function. I'd warranty replace it if it were my unit and I paid $Texas for it.
