Put this into my brother's build a couple months ago. 49A on a single 12v rail, and has both 4-pin AND an 8-pin power plug to accomodate most mobos. The older ones used to ship with 2x 6-pin PCIe but the one I got 2 months ago came with 1x6-pin + 1x6+2 pin, FYI.

Think OCZ bought the company a while back. That works out great, since you can now find especially good after-rebate deals on PP&C supplies.

I have one of these in my Quad System. I have 4x HD's, an optical, a flopply and have had several X2 and crossfires set-up, the PSU has not let me down.

OCZ bought them and they are probably trying to get more market share.

What happened was that they weren't selling at $200 in today's market.

BTW, knock off another $5 with coupon code EMCBCAEBB. You must be a Newegg newsletter subscriber and it expires 12/10/08.

You'd have to have your head examined if you paid anywhere close to that EVER. IIRC, they were selling for ~ $120ish before the discount I got 2 mos ago. I paid $68 shipped AR I think.

And yes, as gba indicated, please take note of the dimensions of this PSU if you have a midtower case with a top blow-hole fan. It's about 3/4 - 1" longer than a typical sized PSU like my Corsair 620HX and would not fit in my particular Lian-Li case.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. In my case, I'd have to remove the blow hole fan which I'm not willing to do -- then it would fit fine.

In the P180, I know you've got that middle divider mid-way across but you should have plenty of room I wouldn't worry.
