I have data on a PCMCIA hard drive (double thick) that will not fit into my lap tops PCMCIA slot. I need to transfer the data to a CF Card somehow.
(Can not locate a PCMCIA extension card/cable)
Any suggestions?
PCMCIA Expander/Adapter Through a Compact Flash Slot
Great portable PCMCIA adapter for your PC, PDA or PocketPC with a Compact Flash slot. Add a 16-bit PCMCIA card through your device's type I or II CF slot!
Note on the page says it's for 16 bit PCMCIA cards only. Check the page for more info.
Not quite... he needs to transfer the data from a PCMCIA drive to a CF card... not get access to the PCMCIA drive's data via a CF interface.
I've never used them, but a quick Google search gives quite a few results for adapters that let you use a PCMCIA card via USB. One of those, combined with a USB card reader for the CF might do the trick.
