PCMCIA dongle compatibility

I have the card (CardBus EN-235), but I don't have a dongle. When I went looking online, I can't find the dongle for this exact card. When I found a generic-looking dongle by Belkin on Amazon, I went to Belkin's product page which said that this dongle is compatible only with Belkin products. Aren't dongles more compatible than that? I mean, if it fits the port on the PCMCIA card and the other end receives RJ-45, shouldn't everything work out?
