pcmcia conversion to desktop???

is there any form of adapter or something to the affect, that will adapt a pcmcia card to either a usb port or pci card?.....the linksys adapter won't work b/c it is designed to be used with the linksys pc card....i need to use a sierra air card by verizon which is pcmcia on a desktop computer
 
I believe there are adapters that fit into 3.5" or 5.25" bays that allow you to insert several PCMCIA cards. If you're looking for wireless access for a desktop, there are stand-alone PCI wireless cards that you can get (if you don't want to mess with the conversion).
