I wonder what you guys think of pc mark 8.
I think that the logic behind it is sound, but I still find hard to understand the gap in scores.

For example, what is the minimum acceptable pcmark home score?
What's the difference between a 3000 score and a 6000 one? Is a 6k twice as fast or n times faster, with an underlying power law?
 
"Fast enough" is subjective, even if you group together people using the same applications. Add in different applications and the minimum changes again.
 
While that's true,I found that some minimum thresholds apply.try a cpu with less than 800 single thread passmark score and you'll notice.

I am wondering if a similar threshold exists for pc mark
