PcLinux login prompt

I am giving the PC Linux live CD a try, but when I get to the login prompt, I don't care what I put in for user name and password, it comes back and says login failed.

What am I doing wrong ?

Please familiarize yourself with the above linked document. "Doing your homework" is an important part of learning.
 
Thanks, I finally figured out the guest one. Is there more indepth help in either the O/S or elsewhere that would allow someone that has zero experience with Linux to know how to accomplish task that I would accomplish in Windows, such as testing the sound and testing and dialing up with modem ?

Look at Drag's sig. He's got some links in there. On basic *nix usage, there are plenty of sites out there.
