PCIMCIA Floppy Drive

ShynnSw33tx, I've never personally seen a PCMCIA Floppy Drive. Most laptops that I have seen where the floppy drive is external, it usually connects through a "specialized" port on the back of the laptop.

Yes, there are PCMCIA floppy drives, but usually these are model specific.

Like USB drives, these drives cannot be accessed until the Operating System has been fully loaded unless there is specific support for the device built into the laptop's BIOS.

Toshiba's have a PCMCIA Floppy drive as an option.
I think it was the 7100 and 7200 series laptops.
