PCIe x 1 slot

PCIe x 1 are not backwards compatible with PCI cards, are they?

Are there any TV tuners that use the PCIe x 1 slot if not?

What types of cards are available that use the x1 slot?

For now, it doesn't do much. I've seen some NICs that use it, eventually the goal is for it to replace PCI, so you'll see sound cards, TV tuners, USB/Firewire cards, maybe even low end graphic cards. Right now, though, it's basically useless.
