Motherboards are for S478. Got the CPU already (P4 3.4Ghz), just have to choose between the following combinations. Either I take an AGP config or a PCIe one.

1:
Mobo: ASUS P4C800-E DELUXE (AGP)
Graph: GIGABYTE 6600GT GV-N66T128VP 128MB (TurboForce Edition)

or

2:
Mobo: ASUS P4GD1 (PCIe)
Graph: LeadTek Winfast PX6600 GT TDH 128 MB

I seriously doubt which combo is the best. What would you guys choose? The question if I would take a PCIe or AGP mobo is killing me :(

Well...if money is not that big of an issue, I'd go w/ the PCIe combo. Why? B/C AGP will slowly be phased away...no, I should say is being phased away. In fact, nVidia has claimed that it will not release the 7800GTX as an AGP card. I would go w/ the PCIe b/c of the ability to upgrade your card later if you want...especially if you plan on holding on to that system setup for a while.

BTW...what's the cost of each of those setups respectively (the price you will be getting them for)? I remember the price guides showing a premium being charged on AGP cards as well.

If you have the choice the PCI-E is the obvious. If you have a existing AGP card you want to use then buy a AGP board. There is no difference in speed between the two with the current selection of graphics cards however im sure that will change with in the next year or two.
