Question PCIe 4.0 m.2 drive with PCIe 3 motherboard?

I'm looking to increase storage on my PC. I currently have the m.2 slots filled with Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB M.2 SSD drives and would like to bump at least one of the drives (the non-boot drive) to 4 TB.

Yes it is compatible but will only operate at PCIe3 speeds due to your motherboard limitations.
