PCI128 sound card not recognized by WinMe

Upgraded my system to WinMe, and the Creative PCI128 SC comes up
as ES1370 in device manager.
I tried to download the latest driver from Creative, but SETUP
fails saying it can not detect the PCI128 card on my system.
Any ideas ?

I forgot to mention that the sound card does work but it show up as
ES1370 and not as PCI128.
I am trying to make winme recognize the card as what it really is.
The board is ECS K7VZM.

I was trying to playback a DVD movie, and the sound was very choppy
(DMA is enabled), so I thought the card is running with the wrong
driver.
What should I look at to fix the DVD sound problem ?

Check your system properties and make sure the ES1370 is not using the same DMA as the DVD. You can also try checking the resources to make sure they are not shared. You can also diable the legacy device for the PCI128 if you do not play games in DOS, which you shouldn't in WinME anyway.😎

The legacy audio devices are not present in the device manager.
I will check the IRQ and DMA. What do I need to do if the IRQ is shared ?
Can I manualy force a device to use another IRQ ?
If the DMA is the same, can I change it ?
