pci

Too high of PCI bus speed can damage drives (in the long term) according to my experience using 83Mhz bus a lot in the days of Socket 7. Newer drives should be better, but I personally do not use that high of PCI bus any more. I would try to stay away from it, if I were you. 75Mhz (37.5Mhz PCI) should be OK, but 83Mhz (41.5Mhz PCI) is a bit too much.
