I think the max is 41.5 I dont think anythink exept ibm hard drives wil take more than this.

Too high of PCI bus speed can damage drives (in the long term) according to my experience using 83Mhz bus a lot in the days of Socket 7. Newer drives should be better, but I personally do not use that high of PCI bus any more. I would try to stay away from it, if I were you. 75Mhz (37.5Mhz PCI) should be OK, but 83Mhz (41.5Mhz PCI) is a bit too much.
