I wouldn't sweat it, the only real uses for PCI-E in a laptop right now are gigabit ethernet or to upgrade the graphics, and there isn't even a set standard for that.
Actually I think sagar plans to release pci express in the beggining of next month. BTW I would wait until whenever this happens b/c it means upgradable graphics for your lappy. Might want to check around notebookforum.com
Up gradeable graphics will be a nice thing but u will pay out the back side for it when it first comes out and there are always problems with first and second runs of them. Just look at cars.
