I currently have a Asus (P5WDGII Pro) board, Can anyone recomend a newer board that would support the latest Intel processors, along with a PCI X slot for my Promise Raid card? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new PCI Express raid card? The Raid card I have is only 1 year old.
 
There're some newer ASUS boards that have PCI-X slots.

Might need to check around to see if those support 45nm processors right out of the box, or if they need a BIOS update.

pci-x is not very popular with consumer.

The asus WS series is workstation.


I would look for a Harpertown rig, or are you intending on overclocking?
