PCI wireless adapter refusing to work correctly

So i got this new zonet pci wireless adapter 300mb/sec about 2-3 weeks ago. It worked perfectly for a week. Now, i can't say as much. If i try to even play and a game it works for up to 15 minutes fine, then disconnects for a minute or two and during this minute or two i can't even load google. but after this minute or two it works again, then disconnects again soon after. I've reset my router, tried driver reinstalls, only thing that might be possible at this point is overheating. I have a micro mobo, so its litterally an inch from the video card, and the heat coming of the video card could be overheating it. Does anyone know anyway i could solve this? Thanks in advance. Just so you know, in the making of this thread i was trying to play an mmo i like, and the mmo disconnected three times in the making of this thread, and the internet wouldn't load webpages at the time, until it reconnected. What's weird is it never loses internet connection. just seems to hang up and go out every few minutes. If i don't do anything intensive and just browse the web this doesn't happen. But when the wireless card was working correctly i could be on skype, steam, youtube, and an mmo i like to play without lagging whatsoever. Again thanks for helping me out.

I have to agree with you it sounds like an overheating issue. Try leaving the case open and have a house fan blowing inside the case. Then try and make it fail so to speak under the same conditions it has been giving you problems. If this fixes the issue then you know you'll need to add case fans for better air movement. What are your system specs?

Amd athlon 640 x4 3.0ghz
gigabyte micro mobo
asus dvd drive
sapphire radeon hd 6850
antec 500w psu
antec three hundred case

i'll try this, i have two case fans. it's just the wireless card is covered by the massive video card. I'll try opening the case and putting a fan into and see what happens. Thanks for the help.

Well after looking at your mobo and v.card I can better visualize your system, do you have anything mounted in the PCIe slot above the video card? If no I would suggest getting an adapter for that slot.
