Trying to rule out ALL of my components as the problem, so I pulled the AGP and tried another card. I have a matrox mellinium running in my old machine and figure to just drop it in, nothing happens. I get red green green red on the LED, wich means something like no processor initialization.

I put my AGP back in and it goes, I put the PCI back in the other machine, no prob. Find and old PCI and try it... same prob. WTF? I tried clearing my cmos using the jumper but it didn't make a diff. also tried several pci slots.

It LEDs stall like that forever? Have you tried waiting a bit? because the default display is AGP.

Have you tried booting up with the AGP card, going into the BIOS, setting default display to PCI, saving changes, then powering off and changing to the PCI card, then powering back on?

Have you tried the first and last PCI slots? One might be designed as "next in line" after AGP.
