I'm trying to make a dual monitor setup, I've got a gf4 mx agp and a gf2 mx pci card, but the pci card overrides the agp card when i've got both installed. Anyone know where I can fix this?
What do you mean by override? Do you mean that it is the primary display? If so, you may need to change an option in your BIOS to tell your motherboard which graphics card it the primary. It is probably set to PCI and it needs to be set to AGP.
In the BIOS you can set which video is selected first AGP or PCI. I believe that a program like powerstrip will allow you to set which card does what. I could be thinking about D3D and OpenGL.
I couldn't find anything in the BIOS (Smartmenu 3, btw, it's an abit kt7-raid board) but I may have overlooked it. I also couldn't find anything in powerstrip that lets you specify which card should be primary. Anyone have any suggestions?
The only AGP functions listed in the Advance Chipset menu were the apeture settings. If anyone knows where I can set the primary display to AGP on an Abit Kt7-Raid motherboard, it would be great.
