PCI Video Card for Half-Life 2?

My roommates and I are putting together a cheap PC just for Orange Box. We've met specs on everything except the video card... but we only have PCI slots! Help!

What is a decent PCI gaming video card? Fairly inexpensive?

The best is probably the visiontek X1300 if you can find it.

even the 1300x won't run the game well at all. Why don't you guys buy a motherboard that can run pci-e?

Whatever you get, get an ATI card, runs so much better with HL2 and HL2 is a pretty non-demanding game, I think a X1300 will do you just fine.

Alright, I'll look into it.
We were trying to avoid buying a new motherboard, to keep it cheap... although you could just about get a new motherboard and a PCI-e card for the cost of a PCI card...

This is the best pci card I'm aware of. It will be bottlenecked by the pci bus, so it won't be as fast as the agp/pci-e versions.
