I recently put together a system with the Asus k8n-e deluxe, AMD 64 3200+
Everything is working fine, except I have been having a heck of a time with the wireless card. At first I tried everything else, check wires, updates etc etc. Sometimes it would connect and then lose connection.
Other times it would never connect but detect the wireless router. Mind you, I used this same card on my old PC and it worked fine. I also bought a new wireless card and that did not work either in this PC. After all was said and done, I opened the case and moved the card while the machine was running....it connected!
It seems the card won't seat well in the slot. I tried three different slots. For some reason the card does not seem to fully sit in the PCI slots on this board and I was wondering if this ever happens to anyone else. I finally chose a slot where I can move the card and then screw it in tight in that position to work, but I am concerned that if it jiggles just a little I might have the same problems.
If this continues Im gonna try the USB wireless adapter instead.
