PCI slots: is 32-bit 66Mhz slot the same as 64-bit 33Mhz?

i want to get the MSI K7D . It has two 64-bit 66MHz PCI slots.
But I looked in the Manual and it says:

"PCI 64bit/66MHz---supports 3V or universal cards (can be downgraded to PCI 32bit/33MHz or PCI 64bit/33MHz)"

So if I get a FastTrak TX2000, can i install it in the 64-bit slot?

Good question. My gut tells me yes, since it can go down to 32bit or go down to 33 mhz either 32 or 64 bit, why wouldn't it go down to 32 bit but at 66 ? Maybe someone else can confirm.

Yes you can put stantard PCI 32bit/33MHz for example the Promise card you are looking at, and it will clock both slots down to the PCI 32bit/33MHz speeds

No, they aren't the same and you cannot install a standard 32bit 33MHz card in those slots. You need only look at the slots in the picture to see they are keyed differently. This is done to prevent users from trying to install incompatible cards in the slots. The Promise card can be used since it is 66MHz capable.
