pci simple communication controller not installing in win2k?

im trying to install win2k on my friends computer, win2k doesnt find drivers for the pci controller on a a7v motherboard

i clean installed, w/o the pci controller i cant seem to get the network card to ping anything except itself

any help?
 
Usually this is part of a PCI modem. Some PCI modems will show up twice in the device manager. If the drivers aren't installed properly, try updating the drivers from the device manager and pointing it to the CD-ROM or diskette that came with the modem. Hope this helps...
