PCI SATA Raid Card

Presently I have 2 computers I use. One at college and one at home. Both computers have 2 raptor drives running in raid 0 through the a7n8x onboard controller. Since I graduate in a month I am no longer going to need 2 computers running that type of setup. Would there be any benifit to buying a 4 drive raid card and running 4 raptors in Raid 0? Would that saturate the PCI bus too much? I have an extra 40 gig desktar that I can run in the computer for when friends come over to play games or to process on, so it wouldnt cost me any money aside from the controller. I have searched around, I was just wondering what the general opinion was.

Thanks for all the help,
Mike

Might consider running 0+1 with your four drives unless your current setup is running low on capacity.

you could always use 3 of the drives in raid 5, and then the other just by itself...

I would run all 4 drives in raid 5. IMO that would be the best use of speed and space with some redundancy just in case.
