PCI Router Cards & VOIP Adapter

Anyone know aboot these A-3500 and A-3905 4-Port 10/100Mbps Internal Switch PCI Router Cards available from various liquidators?

I want to setup a Linksys PAP2 VOIP adapter but have no need for a LAN, as such. I know external routers are dirt cheap, even more so wireless ones but am not keen on additional boxes, power bricks and wires just to use it.

Also, I understand once the PAP2 is configured it can be connected to just about any network for travelling? What happens when the adapter is connected to a home DSL line sans router but simultaneously with a PC at another jack? If it would not work then would it if the PC was disconnected? How about if that PC had an internal router card... is it possible to just plug the PAP2 into it and have it work without too much futzing?

well I don't know that exact config ... I do know that a low end good router uses 75 watts of power and that the 4 port NIC cards make a LOT of heat so if you use this card you may need to do a lot of custom work to cool it down. the DSL to other computers is what it's designed to do, personally I went the step to get the modem and router into only one box ... I also mounted the router a switch and patch panel in the basement utility room and than any room that wanted it has a keystone jack mounted in an out let box for internet feed.
