I have recently purchased an additional parallel port which runs off the PCI bus, the driver goes in without a problem but unfortunately all I get is two pci parallel ports which are unusable, how do I map additional LPT assignments to these ports so that I can use a printer on one of them.

I currently run Win98.

Cheers.

yes but it doesn't cause any conflicts in the system properties, it just reports it as two 'functioning correctly' pci parallel ports

There are only two standard I/O addresses for parallel ports, 278 and 378. You may need to go into the system properties and force those addresses. Standard IRQs are 5 and 7, although those are a lot more flexible. You may also be able to get away with I/O address 3BC, however, that one does not support all of the IEEE 1284 modes.

What brand PCI card are you using?
