PCI memory card Power supply?

I have a GeForce FX 5200 right now and its simply connected into the PCI slot. I'm wonder, do I have to connect it directly to the PSU? There doesn't seem to be a plug, and my monitor is connected to it and working, but I've heard it mentioned for other video cards, and I'm wondering if its the same for the GeForce FX 5200.

A lot of newer video cards need more power, so have to be connected to the power supply. That card does not.
