I was thinking of purchasing a PCI Geforce2 MX card for now, and later running it as a second video card under Windows 2000. The reason: my main computer is currently jacked, and I don't have AGP in my temporary replacement. looks like my main compu will be out for about 3 weeks (RMA on the MB).

I have heard that not all video cards will work for this. As far as I know, eVGA and Inno3D are the only companies that make a PCI card with this video chipset. has anyone successfully got one of these cards working under windows 2000 as a secondary video card?

I don't need to know anything else except will it work, but if you have any exp. with the cards, i'd be interested in comments.

Creative made some PCI MXs, but they dropped out of the videocard business, I'm pretty sure if you look around, you can go out and find one for sale.

Well if it's temporary, you might also want to look at the V3&4 for around the same price and performance(PCI).
