are you asking if a pci-express card will fit in a agp 8x slot? no

no they are two different interfaces.....you cant put an AGP card into a PCI-E slot.....and vice versa....

Definitely not. The slots are physically different, and electrically incompatible.

they have mobos with PCI-e and AGP 8x, but I don't think you can SLi and AGP card and a PCI card or PCI-e.

some of the mobos are not promising in performance, but a few companies did it right...

Ignoring the rather nasty people above, the answer to your question is No, PCI-E x16 is not backwards compatible with AGP x8.

Don't listen to everyone. It will fit just fine! Although it will only run at half speed (8x vs x16).

im sure you could get it to fit in there somehow. just place the card over the slot, and with a happer tap the top of the card until it goes in. cracking sounds are perfectly normal.
