PCI Express x16 2.0 vs. 2.1

I currently have an Asus M4A78T-E motherboard that supports PCI Express x16 2.0. I would like to upgrade my video card to a Radeon 5570 series card, since I mainly use it as an HTPC, but the majority of them seem to use PCI Express x16 2.1. Will these work with my motherboard, or will I have to upgrade that also?🙁
