PCI-Express and my Monitor

Hi.

I'm about to buy the new parts necessary for my next system.

A PCI-Express based Motherboard (ASUS A8V-E Deluxe).

My monitor is currently plugged (of course, the display wire, not the power one hehe) in my 9800 Pro, AGP.

I just thought about something...

Will my monitor be compatible with a PCI-Express GPU ? Will the plug be compatible with the monitor slot on the GPU ?

My monitor is quite recent, is an LG Flatron F900B.

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but I'm indeed a newbie to the PCI-Express world, and am wondering about compatibility problems before I buy the whole stuff.

Thanks for your time.

I couldn't quite tell from your post if your monitor uses a VGA connection or a DVI one, but it doesn't really matter. Even the cards that have two DVI ports will almost always come with a DVI->VGA adapter (or else you could just buy one for $5 probably), so either way you're good to go. 🙂
