I saw a web site with a card that was supposed to go into production soon with a PCI-Express connector on one side of the card and flip it over for an AGP connector on the other side. Did anyone else see this? I can't find it again.

Yes I did see it actually, on an asian technology convention center (from pics). I Think it's ATI, looked like the x850 series to me.

Yeah, I saw that a couple of months ago. I like the idea. Lets see if it is ever implemented. If so it would allow you to "buy now, upgrade later". There was also an agp-pcie bridge floating around. From the pics I saw of it you neede a low profile card to get it to work, or leave you side case off. :p

PCIE is the future. I am certain of it as anybody should be. The problem is some of us(self included) upgraded thinking of expense. I bought my board to accomadate my 6800GT which makes sense. Board is cheaper right? Now for the next move I'll have to buy board and card, maybe not have to as ATI is supposed to release next gen in AGP but still you have to look at resale. You won't be able to "give" an agp card away in 2 years.

God I hate it, but they have you by the short hairs. Damned if you do and..........................
