I can't wait until nForce4 comes out, because i'll get it and start building my new gaming rig. I've been trying to find a 6800 GT PCI-E, but have no luck, because it seems like most stores they are out-of-stock. I was looking at Gameve.com, and saw a 6800 PCI-E. It's almost $100 less. Would i see much difference in performence from a 6800 GT to a 6800? Also, does MSI make good vid. cards?

Thanks,
Ace

The best answer is probably for you to read the Half-Life 2 and Doom3 articles under the "Video" tab at the top of the page, and decide for yourself how much the performance difference matters.

You might also look at the 6600GT articles, since PCI-E 6600GT sells for well under $200.

Resolution makes a huge difference in what level of card you "need." If you must play at 1600x1200 then you "need" the 6800GT or even an Ultra.
