i heard these graphic card will come out late 2006, bigger bandwitdh to replace pci-e.
I can't find other info wether the current pci-e 16X slot in the mobo will be able to use it or not. Anyone knows? or it need a new slot?

Then we would know that they would just be trying to take our money because the current video cards don't even use half of the bandwith that pci-e 16x can use.

The bandwidth of x8 in an x16 connector is more than enough for today's cards and it's entirely possible to make two real x16 connectors. Some boards already exist. Why would PCI Express 2 come any sooner than AGP did for PCI1.1? Bandwidth has not ever been a limiting factor since AGP was first introduced because the bus has always been capable of way more than even the next gen cards really needed (An 8xAGP card didn't really NEED AGP 8x).

PCI Express 2? From who? For who?
