Hi guys, with the release of Age of Conan its time for me to upgrade my pc. I have been out of the loop for a while as far as my PC knowledge goes. I was wondering if the PCI 2.0 spec cards will fit into a PCI 1.0 spec Mobo. The vid cards are here Vid cards and the Mobo is this one Mobo

Also, for what its worth I plan on using this CPU CPU. I am attempting to build my first SLI system and keep it under $1100 or so. Any tips, advice, or info is greatly and humbly taken. Thank you.

They will work, but if you're planning on using a wolfdale, you might want to consider the 750i instead. I don't know if the 650i motherboards are shipping with a new enough bios to support 45nm out of the box, and if not, you won't be able to boot with your wolfdale to update the bios.

nForce 6 series was awful if you ask me. I'd go with Jax and say EVAG 750i FTW for just SLI.

Oh one other thing I meant to ask. This vid card is only 64 stream processors. How much difference is there between this and the ones with 128 ? Would the SLI overcome that limitation ? Or would I be better to go with one really high end card? Thank you again.

Don't think any single card really compares to SLIed 9600 GTs actually. And the stream processors make a slight impact, however if you're worried about those you could get 2 8800 GTs for nearly the same price as your 9600 GTs.
