I just set up this computer and in system properties there is a device that is called "pci early non-vga device" i have no idea what this device is. I have my vid card and every other component installed with all the drivers installed and working. I have the asus A7m266 board with the onboard sound but i have that disabled so i dont think that is it. The MB doesnt have onboard video so thats not it. I have a gf2 with tv-out with the latest Det0nators installed. Anyone have any idea as to what this device could be?

Plug and play cards that aren't identified by Windows are often given funny, generic names.

But "PCI Early Non-VGA device" is an odd one; the last time I saw it was for a Rockwell/Conexant HSF PCI modem.
