pci-e power cable question

I just bough the startech pci exprexx video card power adaptor cable since the 7800gt i got from ts forum didn;t come with one and my power supply don;t get one fo those either. I noticethere are 2x 4 pin adaptor on the other end of the 6 pin. Does that mean I have to connect both of the 4 pin to the power supply and then plug the 6 pin into the 7800gt?
