pci-e mobo require new psu?

I have been thinking about upgrading to pci-e. I have agp system now
MSI K8n neo2
6800gt
3200+ winchester
2x512mb ram
480w antec psu
If I upgrade to pci-e and go with 7800gt, do I need a new psu? I saw that the pci-e board have 24pin atx but mine psu is 20pin atx. I don't plan to do any overclock.
Thanks

You need either a 24pin PSU or a 20 to 24 pin adapter for your old PSU. You may also need an ATX12v power connector (square 4 pin molex) which mayny newer mobos require. Your existing Antec may have one.

It will work without the adapter, but you should purchase one anyways. The 4 pins on the right side can be left open. Don't do this as a permenant solution, but you can use it temporarily until you can get the adapter.
