PCI-E Bus interface question

Hey all

I'm running a sapphire 7950 OC edition and noticed something odd with the latest version of GPU-Z

Under bus interface it shows PCI-E 3.0 x16 @ x1 2.0

Shouldn't it be @x16 2.0? I've double checked to make sure I have my card in the right slot on my sabertooth 990fx for a single card setup. Have also pulled the card out then placed it back in to make sure it sits right, nice and snug, firmly in place.

Okay, yeah, that's likely not a false reading then.:| It should be x16 2.0 when under load.

Unfortunately not really. I haven't used an AMD platform in a long time.🙁

Im starting to think it's a bug, looks like after I reboot GPUz and CPUID both read that Im running @16x 1.1 (or 2.0 at load) ..
Then this morning after about 7 or 8 hours of idle time, its back to showing my card is at 1x 1.1/2.0
I don't have pci express power saving feature turned on in windows and my computer doesn't sleep/hibernate, it only turns off my monitor after an hour.

So I ran 3dmark and I get the same score as when it showed 16x 0.o

Maybe 12.2 driver funk? Someone suggested to me I try 12.3 or even 12.4 beta driver.
