PCI card??

My friend has a computer with only PCI slots and he needs to upgrade this grapic card. Which card should he get? I was thinking either a PCI Voodoo3 (2000 or 3000) or a Creative Labs PCI 32mb TNT2. (I have heard that ppl recomend a a Voodoo3 if you only have a PCI and not an AGP) I just wanted to now what you guys think.

Yes the Voodoo3 2000 & 3000 are good cards,there are Gerforce2 MX PCI versions out soon so it all depends on if he wants a new card now or later.You don`t say what system he has so if he is going after the Voodoo3 3000 he might be better of with the Geforce2 MX,another thing what type of games does he play?

I would be VERY wary of a PCI nvidia card.

They take a pretty big hit when you disable AGP, so beware.

The V3 is a good PCI card. Recommended for the $$$.

What is the budget? There is a guy on the FS/T board selling V5 5500 PCI cards for $165. Not sure if he still is. If that is in the price range, I'd jump all over it.
