duh!
I don't know, do you think if I replace my 6 cyl with a v8 I will get a performance boost?
And he didn't ask "will it give more performance" - he asked if it'd be worth it, which is a relative statement. For some, upgrading from a Ti4200 to a Ti4400 is worth it. Some will upgrade their RAM just to eke a few more MHz out of it. Some only upgrade from maybe a TNT to a Radeon 9700 Pro.
🙂
PC133 RAM is cheap; get another 256MB stick and put it in there, assuming there's any slots free. If not, take a stick out (128MB probably), sell it in the FS/T section here, and put the 256MB stick in its place, for 384MB. But having 512MB will definitely be enough, if there's enough open slots.
Most, if not all, PC133 is high density RAM - I know Intel chipsets have had trouble with this; I don't know if a) that is the case anymore, or b) the system even has an Intel chipset.
And, a videocard, yes, a new videocard should definitely be worth it. The only really decent onboard video (in my opinion) is the nForce2 IGP - GF4 MX level graphics.
