So I get my usb 2.0 (via 6212.powered) and so I install it, and no devices recieve power from the card, I tried switching pci slots to no avail. Oddly enough it shows up in windows. Anyway, frustrated me plugs the damn card into the roomie's computer, and power is given to the ports!
I run the following on a 284W Sony proprietary power supply (irreplacable.. jerks):
1.6 Willamette
512 PC2700
7200rpm 80gb wd, 200gb seagate
nc-1300a, cd-rw drive
two 80mm case fans
geforce mx-440
four usb devices connected to motherboard usb slots
one non-working usb 2.0 pci card
Could the power supply be the issue? My roomie's has an antec 500W and the card worked just fine in there.
